Canadian Use of Force Systems teaches a defensive response to the most common attacks with blunt objects by training principle based tactics. Whether you are being engaged with a club, tire iron or a belt the student trains how to position themselves, move immediately out of range to escape or grab an equalizer or close the gap to move away from the attacker’s power. Close-quarter physiological stuns, redirections and disarms permit the defender to momentarily stun the attacker’s nervous system to affect an ability to possess or control the attacker’s weapon until they can entirely disengage from the situation.
Canadian Use of Force Systems does not take a “dueling” or “sparring” approach to contend with blunt objects but training immediate and explosive responses to end the conflict as quickly and safely as possible.
Our “Blunt Object Defensive Tactics” Program is taught in a seminar format. Where applicable students train against motivated attackers in professional FIST training suits. Please contact us for more details on how to attend a seminar in your area.
